MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Brothers and Sisters of Local 547,
As a result of the Air Transport Division Council Meeting on December 9-10, 2008 we will be contacting other carriers to discuss the possibility of an Airline Training Summit sometime within the next 6 months. We hope to include the Union-represented air carriers American (TWU), American Eagle (TWU), Southwest (SWPIA) and United (IAM). We also hope to include the unrepresented carriers Alaska, Horizon, Delta/Northwest, Comair, ASA, Continental, PSA, Piedmont, Republic, TransStates, etc.
While I have many contacts within the industry (especially the represented carriers) I solicit your input to obtain contacts (friends, former co-workers, etc.). If you personally know folks at these unrepresented carriers I ask that you email me the contact information.
